Thank you for your interest in 'Kicker'. With this short film I (Marc Hermann) returned to computer animation after a very long break. I created the film in my spare time between June 2001 and February 2003.

‘Kicker’ has been screened at several festivals (e.g. at the Berlinale 2005), won the award for the best short film at the Bitfilm Festival, and a one minute cut-down version was shown to an audience of about 5 million viewers before the most popular German sports program on national TV (the “Sportschau” on ARD).
